Chidambaram's dubious distinction

It gives me a great pain in writing this post. I have seen many people doing lot of things to promote their constituency but what's happening in the constituency of Chidambaram MP is quiet a miserable thing.

I went on a trip to Sirkali yesterday and stopped by at Chidambaram to visit the temple. Since the time i entered into the temple till the time i boarded a bus i witnessed many girls between the age of 8 to 14, some with babies in their hip begging on the busy streets of Chidambaram and its quiet rampant to say the least.

I can understand that the begging small children might not have voted during the election which catapulted him to become an MP but the onus squarely lies on him to check the conditions of this begging girl children and providing ample facilities so that they don't wander in the street barefooted with a baby in the hip and begging the tourists and common people.

It is certainly a blemish in his tenure as a Chidambaram MP that he is allowing such things to happen in his constituency. Hope he understands the ground reality and do something for these people rather than spending his constituency fund on other unnecessary things.
